Lake Murray, From the Sky!

At the end of June, after spending months working an “essential” job during the COVID-19 pandemic and coming home without doing or going anywhere, as with much of the world on lock down, we decided to take a family trip out to Lake Murray to get outside, away from other people and back in nature. What could be better than a cold drink on the water, out in the sun with the ones you love, with nothing on the schedule but time to yourself? The answer is ‘…well yeah that, but not much else.’

I took my brand new Mavic Air 2 drone along with us for our week-long vacation on the water, and took a little bit of video just for fun, and I’ll tell you something… it was fun! As much fun as it is to play with this fancy new toy (ahem, “tool”), the best part was definitely the relaxation at such a beautiful place.
